The turnout in 2012 was so low that many of those elected to hire and fire chief constables hadn't even convinced 10% of the electorate to support them. The Essex PCC took office with the support of less than 5% of voters. Almost 200 miles away in the Bettws ward of Newport, nobody turned up at all to put their X on the ballot paper.

Corbyn is due a serious spanking at the general election according to polls. He’s rated as the lowest of all the party candidates and whilst talking up votes for 16 and 17 year olds, as well as EU citizens living in the UK, would be best served realising they’re going to vote Lib Dem.

Boris has, despite the media’s attempts to rubbish him, has a solid mandate to remove the country from the EU debacle... something the rest of Parliament have thwarted... Corbyn, et alia, can carry in bleating about the NHS etc... but there’s only one thing on voters minds..

But as Nigel says he is only taking us half out.
Wonder if they will become friends?
