Sky News have been promoting their “Leaders Debate” petition. Quite self-serving, seeing as they’ll be wanting to televise these debates....

The petition wouldn't be getting my vote. The tv companies cant be trusted to report the news accurately as it is.

I had to google to find out what was being discussed as well. Apperently Sky news has started a government petition to force all political parties to take part in live television debates in the run up to an election. They need 100,000 signatures to force it to be discussed in Parliament. With any luck they wont get them but if they do I hope the ideas chucked in the bin and forgotten about

Sky and other TV channels, especially in the US, have made money from these debates, run by a TV presenter, supposedly unbiased...

Once again, the cult of personality, coupled with Rupert Murdoch’s empire try to give you your opinion..

Not only cant the leaders of the main political parties agree on a Brexit deal they now cant even agree on which TV channel to hold a debate. You seriously couldn't make this up

I feel Theresa's made a rod for her own back here. Previously she's been against these sort of televised debates, she'll have no excuse now next time ones offered. Assuming of course she's still around the next time theres something that TV channels want to cash in on for debate.

Wow! Signs of a lack of faith in Theresa. Who'd a thought it?
