The Archbishop of Canterbury, head of the Anglican church, is much criticised for worrying more about the economy than the perilous state of his church.

Is the decline of religion in this country responsible for it's growing lawlessness.

No... there’s been a steadying decline in the church’s role over the past 500 years, since Henry VIII and Thomas Cromwell brought about the reformation in this country.

With the abdication of power from crown to a corrupt parliament, it’s no surprise that both the economy and the church find themselves in the same pot of shit..

I dare bet lawlessness was higher during the 2nd World War than it is now

It is, of course, education that has seen the scales fall from our eyes. Once, the church was the only educator, therefore it's story was believed. Now we can see for ourselves the church in all it's monstrous pomposity.

""The Dalai Lama has sparked anger after declaring that "Europe belongs to the Europeans".
The Tibetan spiritual leader, who is admired across the world, also said that refugees should return to their native countries and assist with developing them.""

Would be nice if our religious leaders had as much sense as The Dalai Lama"
