Jamie Carragher has been suspended by Sky TV for spitting at a man and his 14 year old daughter. The girl was hit by his spittle.

He deserves to be sacked. OK he's apologised for his "five seconds" of madness but to spit at them was his gut reaction to an innocent comment and that just shows what type of person he really is.

You’ve missed my point..

He shouldn’t be sacked, but there should be some punitive disciplinary action. Evans was banned by the FA, but not sacked by the club.

He should actually resign in shame.

So you’re saying Evans should have left Manchester United? More so, because he insisted he didn’t do it, despite it being live on television and repeated to an independent review which also upheld the decision against him? That Rijkaard should have resigned from international foitball, because he spat at Voller during a Netherlands game?

I’m just trying to see whether your decision is based solely on the action and not on the individual..

No, he shouldn’t resign..
