It is proposed that MPs be 'kicked out of the house' (sic) for general and sexual abuse; but those accused will be allowed to keep their anonymity during investigation.

This is said to be to shield them from the fury of malicious complaints.

And what of Mr Everyman? is he to still be named and shamed by a possible false accusation, is he still to have his life and career ruined by some malicious thug?

It's very much them and us now. Not the rich vs the poor but the establishment Vs the rest.

No, if you are accused of something, then you should keep your annonymity until proven guilty. It doesn’t matter if you are a politician, pop star, or any other member of the public..

I suppose that once parliament has satisfied itself of a members guilt, then he gets the old heave-ho.

Doubtless he then loses his anonymity.
