Do you reckon we can start counting this topic in months now rather than days? Years even? It would make keeping tabs much simpler.

Weird .. how's she managing to cling to power?

Scrap the counting in months idea. Let's move onto years.

You could be right. As I see it, no one within the Tory party wants the job...let's forget John and Jeremy and their dreamers for the moment.

I think, bit of a swerve here, that May will soldier on until Brexit then, if it's a success she will probably get an extension but if it's not.................Splatt!

9 months later and not only is Theresa Mays position looking more tenable than ever it would seem Jeremy Corbyns plan to grab onto power is slipping further and further away.

Won't be long before even momentum will not support him.

All he will have left will be the sizeable but non dangerous flakey youth vote. His own party detests him, bar a few eccentrics and hangers on.

She’s not done too bad... though Herr Corbyn hasn’t helped his cause lately, siding with the Russians, in the poisoning of Sergei and Yulia Skripal..

Nice picture of him and Hitler in the news today.. [rofl02.gif]

Perhaps she’ll get another ten days, who knows? [shrug65465.gif]

""Ms Shawcroft will be replaced on the NEC by comedian Eddie Izzard.""

As if they didn't have enough comedians!
Though, on second thoughts, he is not very funny, He's just shite. [1744330pz84739fis.gif]

So thirteen months on, and Theresa’s still in charge...

But with the resignations of Davies and Johnson, over her Brexit plans, her balancing act, trying to keep two vehemently opposing sides on the same ship, is rapidly taking water..

Like Thatcher in the eighties, she’ll cling to whatever life belt she’s thrown, but it would be no surprise if there is a leadership challenge soon.. though what has surprised me, is the lack of substance from Labour, who I’d have believed would be on her like wolves, instead of kittens..

Do you really feel Theresa's position has been weakened? Most politicians voted Remain, there weren't many who voted to leave and out of those that did there were only a few hardliners who wanted the hardest of Brexits. Theresa May has taken onboard every bodies opinions, and there have been many, and come up with a plan which works best for the "majority". A couple have spat their dummies out and resigned at her decision but the majority have welcomed the plans. And those who left have been replaced by people who are more in line with her policy. Far from her position being weakened i'd say its been strengthened and quite significantly to boot.
