Usually, one politician resigning causes a bit of a stir, especially given their previous office... but this is two.. and now four. The Brexiteers reckoned to have already amassed the 48 votes needed for a vote of no confidence and have told her that if her Brexit plans are formalised, then they will send the 48 letters to the PM. It doesn’t matter how many sycophants she surrounds herself with, there’s not enough to deflect the criticism of the way she has dealt with this. If the 48 table amendments to her plans, joined by other parties, the deal, which has already been frowned upon by some in the EU, will not make it across the channel.

Do you really feel Theresa's position has been weakened? Most politicians voted Remain, there weren't many who voted to leave and out of those that did there were only a few hardliners who wanted the hardest of Brexits. Theresa May has taken onboard every bodies opinions, and there have been many, and come up with a plan which works best for the "majority". A couple have spat their dummies out and resigned at her decision but the majority have welcomed the plans. And those who left have been replaced by people who are more in line with her policy. Far from her position being weakened i'd say its been strengthened and quite significantly to boot.

I agree with that!

It would seem the world is full of Tabby Cats, good at spouting nonsense and not so good with facts. First it was last Thursday that 48 letters of no confidence would be submitted, when that failed to materialise it became Friday. Nope, never happened so it "must" happen Monday. Still nothing, another damp squib,

and Theresa soldiers on......

Soldiering on....

.. interesting term of phrase, as many in her “army” have their guns pointed at her back.
