Due to Brexit our MP's have been up to their old tricks again. Most have got away with it too.

Let's start with Keith Vaz.

"It said there was "compelling evidence" he offered to pay for a class A drug and had paid-for sex in August 2016."

Still an MP, standing again for Labour at the next election.

Chris Williamson

"In February 2019, Williamson was notified of a formal investigation and later suspended from the Labour Party for his comments about the party's response to criticism over its handling of allegations of antisemitism within the party.[6] After an investigation, Williamson was reinstated in June 2019 with a formal warning[7] but was resuspended two days later when the party decided to review the disciplinary decision.[8] In October 2019, Williamson won a High Court challenge to the legality of the review of the disciplinary decision but similar charges had been made on 3 September 2019, involving a further suspension, and the High Court ruled the Labour Party's disciplinary procedure with regard to these charges should run its course."

Stephen Hepburn

Suspended over sexual harassment allegation

Andrew Griffiths

Who had to resign as business minister in July after sexual messages he’d sent to two women from his constituency leaked. Disciplinary action against him was dropped, however, as he had been suffering a mental health crisis and was hospitalised for over a month.

Charlie Elphicke

The MP for Dover is accused of a sexual assault against one woman in 2007 and two assaults against a different woman within a week of each other in 2016.

Mark Field

Suspended as a Foreign Office minister after he was accused of manhandling a woman at London’s Mansion House as climate protesters disrupted an official dinner.

Mike Hill

Had the whip withdrawn and his party membership suspended amid allegations he sexually harassed a woman.

Kelvin Hopkins

Suspended for inappropriate behaviour and sexual harassment.

Chloe Smith

Had her parliamentary credit card suspended 14 times in the space of three years for breaking the rules on expenses.

Lisa Forbes

Jewish Labour Movement urges action over new Peterborough MP Lisa Forbes', who apologised for liking a Facebook comment saying Theresa May has a "Zionist slave masters agenda"

This list goes on and on

I've got Zac Goldsmith. He's very good, in a non controversial sort of way.

Really [rofl02.gif]

Quote:
Prior to becoming an MP, Goldsmith had non-domiciled status;[50] in February 2016, The Evening Standard quoted Goldsmith saying that non-domiciled status let individuals "make lifestyle choices to avoid paying tax" and insisting "I've never been accused of not paying tax."[51] In 2009, however, Chris Huhne, Liberal Democrat home affairs spokesman, asserted that Goldsmith was likely to have avoided paying £580,000 per year for each year in the previous decade as a result of his non-dom status.[52]

All before he became an MP and...all legal: if a tad morally dubious.

Zac Goldsmith got an interesting past..... well the last 10 years

Quote:
Cameron himself joined in with Goldsmith’s attempts to link Khan to alleged Islamist extremists with whom he had shared a platform while working as a human rights lawyer.
