One good thing to come out of todays votes. Those whiny, whinging Remoaners wont be getting the second vote they've been bleating on about for months.

I know you're a bit thick ....... let me tell you wot there up too this time. [spank.gif]

There playing for time: if they can get another referendum date, they can drag this out for another 2 years [9n5.gif]

Even if they can put May's deal to a public vote.........another 2 years

Its not staying or leaving the EU, just more of the same until the public change their minds..... they hope [tease.gif]

No second referendum.
The UK will stay in the EU until June.

Normally they vote around 7pm, but it's Thursday and they voted before 6pm. More about getting home early for the weekend than government.

No to the second referendum was a little shocking. The amendment was the independent group idea and was doomed to fail after Labour refused to back it.

And here is the situation: any bill or amendment brought by independent group will fail. Labour and the Conservatives will block any action by them.

On 2 May the local elections will be held. Lets see if they call an election for that date

So lets look as this again...… I watched the vote live on TV and reported my thoughts on here soon after. You didn't have the faintest idea the vote had been held but came bounding in like an overexcited Great Dane puppy, calling everyone else "thick" and claiming you knew the way the voting would go. Later as you settled down to watch the vote the penny dropped that you'd actually missed it by a good two hours, everyone knew the result except you and we were all smiling at how you'd made such a tit of yourself on the boards.

Now how funny is that eh

Those silly people in Westminster still have three choices to make
1, Accept the only plan.
2, Go out with no plan.
3, Stay in.

More than enough to keep them fighting each other for years, and years and years...... etc.

Theresa may get it passed after all?

And...there are only 10 days left for them to do anything before the 29th.

What about a last minute shock? :woot:

Well that was a bit of a bombshell. Theresa Brexit deal has been blown out of the water by the speaker of the house. For those of you wanting to leave you best hope the EU refuse permission to an extension to article 50. If they don't Brexit is unlikely to happen.
