I have kept nearly every photo I have ever taken
Even the blurred ones I have kept
the red eyes and the over exposed
Just been sorting through them all with my son
He asked why there was only about 5 of him
I told him its 'cos we lost interest after he was born
(joking)
I've found a black and white one of me as a baby
my goodness I was bluddy gorgeous
My first day at grammar school in my new uniform
with my fawn socks on and a brand new leather satchel over my shoulder
We had to wear gaberdines and berets to school then
A black and white school photo of when I was about 8
a photo of my nana and grandma together at a family do
my wedding group photo where I looked like the soddin queen mum
I wore a powder blue suit and a navy blue hat with a net thing
and a grim look on my face wondering what the heck I'd done
photos where I had shoved funny hats on my kids
My eldest wanted me to tear a few up of her
I absolutely refused
they are my memories
and besides
when she brings her future hubby home I want to be able to get them out

I know how you feel Diane.

My sister emmigrates to France to live a week on Tuesdayso we have spent quitealot of time over recent weeks sorting through things and spentso much time going through family photos.

As she has no children she decided she would keepa dozen photos and the rest that she had I have now got.

I have spent a few nights going through them, time spent laughing and crying but must admitI have enjoyed it on the whole, it has brought back so many good and bad memories but well worth it.

I recently lost my mum but was able to relive some happy memories when I came across all her old photograph albums.

Yes , old photos are worth keeping.
