Love chestnuts..

When I did on stove..roast always burned shell. Not come out right.

I soak them all night in water. Then I slice slit in each nut. Boil for time till soft..shells peel off so easy..nut stays super moist. Very tasty.

How long did you boil them for?

Sadly not, I need more things to cross today, so if you could manage a quick cross of the fingers I’d be happy x

Watching to see if the airports reopen [9n5.gif].
Gatwick still closed due to drones [confused1.gif]
Heathrow is closed due computer flauts [shrug65465.gif]

I was going to pick family from Gatwick, they were due in at 8pm, but I'm not sure now.
Have old friends flying into Heathrow around 4am and said I'd pick them up too.

All of which are good for you depending on how you cook them and making sure you trim the fat off the bacon.
