A little lost. Its my last day in my home of 30 years.

Walking around this big old empty house...... thinking back to my first day here.

Shoreham Beach :winedrinker:

And here is a vid [eng1.gif]

This is where I was:

This is where I am now:

For comparison only:

My old house is similar to this one but on the seafront and sold for more.

I've brought a house similar to this one at Shoreham beach

See:

https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-fo ... 27817.html

You can ruffly see how much I made from moving 8 miles along the coast
I now have a garden instead of a concrete slab courtyard
A garage and "free parking" for the first time ever :yahoo:

Watching boats go by instead of drunken students and tourists. Hove Lawns holds too many events and area is far to busy at night to sleep in summer months [9n5.gif]

It's feels odd living on only 2 floors
And I cant have tons of family staying like before

After first heart attack a few years ago and moved into the barn conversion, after 6 months....... I was itching to move back to Hove Lawns and the main reason for not selling at the time. When your ill home is home and where you feel at comfortable.

Today taking one last look around, my thoughts returned to 1995 and the day I moved in. The girl I was dating and the plans we had. The house soaked up my of my money for years and never did fix it up. Floorboards were left up for 10 years and rooms undecorated [rofl02.gif]

But still I'm going to miss living on the Kingsway :crying:

After two weeks in Greece and a week camping in Scotland, it’s good to feel my own bed..

I feel like I am beginning to feel my age.
I am only 39 you know so I shouldn't have to bear the pains that I do! [50_50.gif]
