He’ll, I was still in my forties and playing football. Hadn’t learned to drive, so the bus was my carriage and I was fitter for walking to the shop...

2009...

I was in the second year of running my own business, doing reasonably well given the financial crisis, looking forward to moving to new, more central, premises in the new year.

I'd come off most of my medication because of the side effects and I was pushing the boundaries of what my health would let me do and finding that I could often do more than the doctors thought I should. I decided to manage my condition in my way, a way that worked for me. Best thing I ever did

2009 what a year :yahoo:

The world was going to hell and I was dancing naked on top of a lamp post. :proud:
That nice Policeman who decided to rescue me still sends me a Christmas card
I was making a ton of cash from "He woke up with me" website. One guy offer me £500 to take his picture down and never contact him again :rarrr:

I'd trying to think if that was the year I swapped over viscose nappies
Love silk to death, but the bottom was dropping out of the adult baby market and had to cut costs :crying:
Still sold them as "silk nappies, used" online and no one complained. :shifty:

Can’t remember what I did last week let alone 10 years ago, however not much has changed so pretty much the same I guess.

I was re-reading posts from around that time and came across your posts and a dog you’d lost... seems a distant memory I guess..

I don’t recall losing a dog in 2009. (10 years ago)
However I have lost 2 within the last 10 years yes.
I lost one in 2015 and another in 2018.
So unsure what post that was.
And that loss never feels distant. [sad.gif]

I may have mistaken the dates, as I was trawling through a few older threads last night ... and no, the loss never leaves you, but then neither do the memories x

True when you think of things or past not always as clear. I do recall however both of my parents starting to get ill never seen before few months apart. What a change that made taking care of those who took care of you for so long. Long road it was 6 years.
