I am a fan of good movie selections. Thinking of a few like "The notebook, Forest Gump, so many I watched. But those 2 off hand now..recently watched.

I like the original Star Wars..add on to film well some times dry off..no more can be said for good original series. Keep dragging on to plot same just turned around. Thinking here too Rocky Series good. That Creed well not so. Shogun awesome glad smart left that alone. Last Samauri. Just can't replace original makes. Not same.

Some are better, some are worse. I liked the remade Ocean's Eleven better than the old one but The original Haunting better than the remake. Seems like movie execs are using remakes as a safe money maker now as most people are familiar with the originals and will watch it to compare or they can show it to another generation and now advertising can reach so many more people I'd say money is the bottom line as to why there are sooooooo at the moment.
