I can't see any issue with this new ruling. The only people that will be affected are dodgy landlords.

There was never anything such thing as a "short notice eviction" for landlords who don't live on the premises or share accommodation.

To repossess a rented property: the tendency needs to end (8 weeks notice) and a court order required. ( Courts normally give them 4 weeks to leave).

I've look at this new ruling and the effect, I can't really see anything new [shrug65465.gif]

If you share accommodation the emergency 7 day eviction process is still available.
The Police can still shut down and evict at 24 hours notice too. ( Drug/crime)

Well dong the council wont pay the rates I charge

And local councils will help mothers with children under "duty of care".

There is a building I own that's used for abused women and run away teenagers. It's on a 10 year lease to a charity. It's never made a profit and costs a fortune to maintain due to those using it. The lease ends in 2020 and won't be renewed.

I'm in the process of ending that lease now and this won't end before 2021.
