I was saying recently on a thread that our animals are like family too. They grow with you, age and well die too. Sadly recently my last dog think ever will have had to be put to sleep. I miss him much..but never realized the true attachment my other pet a cat who thinks she a dog truly effected too. I removed area bedding and eating supplies area. She been acting so weird and first thought perhaps time change issue..but yesterday as I went for a walk and she goes with me, coming towards home she raced off to back yard, meowing and crying..I found her on top of the grave in which our petey buried trying to dig off his stones. Laying their she looked up to me to help her. She not leave his grave site. I cried with her..so sad..figured all animals may miss in some form, never saw that behavior in my other pets before. They were best buds. Strange cat and dogs can become so attached too....
