Why do we do it? Well, not me...I learned my lesson. I intend to go SHOPPING for my shopping.
And I read today that 1 in 4 items bought over the Christmas period on line were returned, what a fekin palava.
On line, you can't taste it, feel it, try it, you have to go to a shop to do that.
Then you have to wait for delivery, which might go to plan, usually not; then you have to seek out a neighbour who might have taken it in for you whilst you were out; and they are seldom pleasant about it.

Now, finally in possession of your purchase you may try it, taste it, feel it etc. And you find it's all wrong. So you decide to send it back. Parcel it up again, slog off to a post office and return it with a cancellation order. You have already cancelled a replacement over the phone.
Then you can relax, whilst hoping it goes seamlessly right for a change.

What a hope,

Deliver it? HuH! They'll chuck it in the back garden, over the fence, under a bush, through an open window or seek a helpful neighbour, or on the doorstep, where any passing thief can help himself. Might even cram it through a letter box if it is at all possible.

And when you finally track it down, open it up, it is either broken or wrong sized.

Who wants all that after staying in all day for a delivery that only comes when you are out?
