Has anyone planned their funeral and how in depth have you planned it? Songs, speakers, burial, cremation or medical donation etc. It seems like a good business decision and would also save your loved ones a lot of upset to know what you wanted.

I read that people in their 20s are now making these decisions as part of a life plan...it's probably a good idea.

I would choose to have no service, a cheap casket and cremation (environmentally friendly and economical)...simple..however if those left behind wanted something more elaborate that's fine too.

i do have a prepaid funeral plan. There a good ideal too. Friends and family always spent too much on them [spank.gif]

My 3k plan covers cremation and all the other stuff too. :rarrr:

I think a funerals about saying goodbye and its a personal thing
So they all have to come dressed as devils or angels depending on where they think I ended up [rofl02.gif]

I liked Oliver Reeds wishes on his funeral, he said if anyone in the church cries them throw them out. [thumbsup.png]

I lost my mum in February and I can assure you that 3k would not have been anywhere near covering her funeral costs :hand:

No plan in place but since losing my dad last year, it is something that’s been discussed a fair bit amongst family. Def something that I plan to sort out, together with getting all my insurance documents etc in order. More so, now I have the 2 girls. I wouldn’t want anyone having the hassle of scrambling through not knowing what’s what

Exactly, planning would certainly make things go more smoothly for those left behind, especially during that time of grief and stress.
