I was asked about solar fans :winedrinker:

The ones I use are usb connection fans like this one on ebay for £20.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-6-8-USB-Ir ... CHsZ8pZELA

Let's put this into perspective: most light bulbs are 11 watts. A 5 watt solar fan will not save you much money. There worth buying cos there free to run and left by a window for weeks in the summer.

In the winter months there used to circular air and save money on my heating bill. (Remember hot air rises and unless the air is moving the room wont feel that warm.)

There a good reason for buying usb: they plug into computers, sat nav and most phone chargers. Your not tied down to the solar panel.

At night and I leave one by the bed plug in with the phone charger.

Remember there only 8 inch fans and you need a few of them for a good size room.

Dong the price of electric is only going up. Simple changers will save you money.

Nah! We boil down dead cats and make our own candles!
That's cheap!

The solar panels sold with these fans are crap [1744330pz84739fis.gif]
I'm going to have to order another better solar panel to power this fan [9n5.gif]

I'm still playing around with these fans. They need to run for 8-10 hours overnight in the summer.
Once the Sun sets, the most I'm getting right now is about 4 [9n5.gif]

Time to start research
