All week I've been mixing up bath tub e liquid and I thought talk about a few problems with it.

After watching a lot of youtube vids on this I order a kit online for £20 and started mixing.

Here is what you should do:

To make 8mg strength using 54mg base

1.5ml (30 drops) of Nicotine Base

3.25ml (65 drops) of PG

3.25ml (65 drops) of VG

2ml (40 drops) of flavour concentrate

Shank it well, leave with the cap off for 12 hours and then store for 1 week before use.

Hmmmm..... yea

I don't do it like that cos I have a life and I'm too cheap to buy 15ml of flavour concentrate for £3.50 a bottle.

Mine is mix up in a milk bottle using a funnel, a touch of lido vodka and cheap food flavouring. Left on the washer dryer for a few hours while its washing my thongs.

The yanks on the web say if you don't make e liquid the right way you end up with a soapy nasty tasting liquid that's only good for the bin. There wrong.

A few days ago after using my bath tub e liquid I made the mistake of taking my tank apart to show a friend how it worked. After putting it back together I started to get a nasty soapy taste from it. It turns out I'd mess up the cotton wicks on my tank and it was burning almost dry. By replacing the cotton the taste was gone and the problem was fix.

If your e liquid's viscosity is wrong or your cotton is "packed" you will get that soapy taste too.

I've been mixing all week and testing using my drippier tank. There seems to be no difference in taste of the stuff left under the sink for a week and the stuff made today.

Or maybe my washer dryer is really good at mixing and ageing e liquid

There's been a real growth in sub ohm tanks for the last few months. The reason is the wire coil on anything over 1.5 ohms is thin and burns out in a few weeks. 0.4mm wire used on the sub ohm tanks is thicker and even vaporizing at 50 watts never seems to burn out.

I did run my troll tank at 150 watts using 0.5 coils by mistake last week and only the cotton burn out.

I'm starting to understand why all the new ciggys are increasing there wattage over 100 watts: more power means you can use thicker wire.

The other problem is the e liquid mix. My billows v2 tank is a little "foggy". Anything over 50% vg mix and room soon fills up with smoke using the sub ohm build. It filled the car up with vapour in under 5 mins and I had to stop. I've had to start mixing 20% vg/80%pg for it which should stop the problem.

If you watch this vid you can see the problem.

I got asked a question about how I make my coils. I use a Revolver Coil Jig by BoomBoom.

You can buy them in the UK from Clockwork Vapour for £9.99 + £2 p&p

My new £4 measuring cylinder is a life saver. The time its saved me mixing up my e liquid is unbelievable. Made 200 ml in 20 mins and not one silly dropper or syringe was used. :proud:

First let me say I dont agree with drug use.

But even I understand people use cabanas and I thought I'd up date this for them.

I've got a few friends who use Cloutanks and they tell me:

They use 1/4 of the cabanas that a joint needs.
No tobacco.
No chemicals from a lighter.
No naked flames or burning joints to cause fires.
No ash trays and less smell.
And they can put them down any where.

Over all everyone who's tried a dry herd tank been converted with in 10 mins.

If you are a cabanas user you mite want to try one. Kits start at £15
