Why mention a cricket result on a golf thread?

Er! Because it's a sports forum!

6-1 for football

Whitewash for the English.

Er! That's cricket, if you are floundering.

5 games to nil. And our first ever whitewash of an Oz team.

I think I'm going to switch allegiances and follow Georgia Hall instead of Rory Mcllroy. I'm getting a bit tired of Mcllroy bottling his last round. Plus Georgia is much better looking.

Fantastic scenes at Paris today. And how fitting it was Francesco Molinari that holed the winning shot to win the Ryder Cup. 5 wins from 5 takes some doing. Ian Poulter also deserves a mention, the determination to win was oozing from him all weekend. He was in the zone from the first to the last shot. And Tommy Fleetwood looked like he was ready to party till long into the night. What a year its been for him and what a start to his Ryder Cup career. He's definitely a player to keep an eye on these coming years. A brilliant weekend and a brilliant atmosphere cumulating in a fantastic result for Europe. Excellent stuff!
