once upon a time many years ago
there was a very poor city called Manchester
poverty was rife, famine and disease were in abundance
there was no hope for this god forbidden city.
Sodom and Gomorrah had fck all on this gaff
something had to give
so theres a river called the Irwell
and the proper devout mancunians who wouldn't ever give in,cast all the non mancs out of newton heath, etc and said yeh verily fck off to your land of milk and honey
and thus Salford was born,
then cotton was born
and Manchester was known as cottonopolis
the Salford people thought oh fck what have we done?

there was another thriving up and coming city springing up which went by the name of Liverpool
and they had a port and they were jealous of Manchester getting huge profits from this new cotton thing,so demanded and tried to extort, well bribe if you will, pay us or the cotton stays with us
Manchester said ,ok well if,you know the if the mountain wont come to the mountain thing
well we will just build a canal then to the port then fck yerz
and we will call it the Manchester ship canal ,just to wind you up
this canal had to pass through the poor desolate bleak wastelands of Salford
and the poor rebels who thought they had found the land of milk and honey were dying of cold and hunger, were reduced to stealing bits of cotton to keep warm and sometimes ate it
hence they were and still are known to this day as the rags
amen.

The rags did a pretty good job of turning over Liverpool yesterday that's for sure.

32% possession.. not bad for the visiting team..

.. oh wait, that was the home team. Best summed up by post match comments on the “rags” own site... “hope we’re not going to keep this shit up”.. hardly out of their own half during the second half whilst attacking (if you could call it that) the Stretford End... boos from Man Utd fans when Mourinho took Rashford off in a defensive move..

.. or the 14 shots by Liverpool to United’s 5.

Two goals from route one football.. Mourinho did what every Man Utd fan didn’t want him to do... park the bus and rely on break away football at home to their fiercest rivals..

But, a win’s a win..but turned over.. no.

Well however United played, they won with two class goals. Think both teams managed two shots on target. The difference is, United scored all three goals.

Mourhino did a quite excellent job. Got his two goal lead then shut the doors. 3 points in the bag and 5 clear points between them and you. He's one happy chappy and left the stadium with a far bigger smile than anyone in the Liverpool camp.

More importantly, they put nine points between them and fifth place.. short of a meltdown, they’ll qualify for the CL next season..

This isn’t Manchester United... it was Swansea City.. win by not losing.. they tried it at OT against City and the fans tore Jose a new one ..

Swansea City have gone something like 11 games without defeat. They're in the quarter finals of the FA Cup and pulling away nicely from the relegation zone.

Man U played the perfect game against the Pool, tied up Sala quite excellently so you couldn't score then shut the doors once a tidy lead was created. A job well done.

Then why aren’t all united fans as happy as you?
