He's something special, isn't he? Too young? Wasn't Rooney playing in Euro 2004 when he was 17?

He may find himself back on the bench this coming season, despite his rise to fame. There's been mixed reports about his inclusion in the England squad for the Euros too. People are already lining up Old Fart Hodgson's choice, should England fall on their arses.

I've not seen any mixed reports. [shrug65465.gif]

I hope he won't be on the bench next season but nothing will surprise me about Mourinho.

As Tix said, injury prone Sturridge is more of a risk.

Kane and Vardy are hardly proven on the international stage and Rooney hasn't performed well in a tournament since 2004.

It was brought up during the England game on Thursday night. As for Sturridge, I doubt his fitness as well and don't know why he's there..

In my opinion, Rashford would do well up front with Kane against Russia. Vardy's speed won't be much use if Russia sit back.

Seems Marcus has the right attitude. His free kick last night was definitely learned from Beckham. Let's hope he keeps on the straight and narrow.

The lad has being doing well this season. I get the impression he will keep himself on the straight and narrow.
