Press reports in both England and Spain have, over the last couple of months, linked De Gea with a move back to Madrid, albeit with Real instead of Atlético ..

United are set to play hardball to keep their shot stopper, but given the amount of pressure Madrid will Bring to bear coupled with the fact De Gea has publicly spoken of his desire to return home, they will be hard pressed to keep him.

Chelsea have reportedly slapped a £73m price tag on Courtois and the former Atlético loanee may be too rich, even for Los Blancos.

So where does that leave United. The team scraped into a champions league spot with a massive (pardon the pun) hand from their keeper. United a defence is a joke and only De Gea made them look good.

If De Gea goes, who will United get to replace the irreplaceable?

Who is Cammy Bell?!

Cammy Bell is the former Kilmarnock goalkeeper who, had he not joined Rangers, could easily have found himself an international squad regular but who now has nightmares about Queen Of The South and Cowdenbeath. If Man United are interested, it'll cost them....

hardly scraped in ,good few points clear of 5th in the end

but yer ... united are a club without doubt in transition and will only get better ,i have no worries about that whatsoever

liverpool however have claimed to be in transition every year for the last twenty and are going backwards ,id worry about your own heap
