In a country where “tapping up” players is a regular occurrence, a guy with wire cutters and binoculars really isn’t a big deal at all... it’s happened in Argentina, Bielsa’s home... it’s happened across Europe... I’ve no doubt it goes on, on a regular basis, just this idiot got caught...

I totally agree about that in Argentina this kind of activity is perfectly normal. I've never know a South American do anything legally. Its inbred into them to break rules as often as possible. So much so they don't even realise they're doing anything wrong (as in the case of Bielsa).

Saying that though. Leeds were quite magnificent on Friday and would have been so whether a spy was sent to Derbys training camp or not.

Bielse has rocketed from being villain to almost superstar status after calling a press conference to announce he sends spies to every opponent of Leeds. Funny as hell when you consider most journalists turned up expecting him to resign or at the very least apologise for his behaviour.   :proud:

I’d neither seen, nor read Bielsa’s press conference... though on balance, it’s nothing new and something many of his peers have alluded to.

One piece says he isn’t a perfectionist, rather a strategist... one would disagree with this on many levels, given the amount of effort he puts into covering all the bases, ensuring every little detail is scrutinised..

It’s no wonder, he is considered a manager’s manager... his open honesty is a breath of fresh air, some may choke on, where his insight has led to their loss..

Perhaps Fat Frank should stop whining and start taking notes..

After Leeds recent run of form I'm amazed they are 3 points clear at the top. Big game coming up on Saturday though. A 6 pointer if there ever was one.

Picking up Casilla was a good move and if you can get James from Swansea, that’d seal a good January window..

Another big game at Elland Road this afternoon. Norwich will go all out to move level with Leeds and a couple of goals may see them go above on goal difference. On the contrary, Leeds could go six points clear, a nice cushion.

They’ll have to put the disappointment of not landing James

I didn't get to see the game but looking at the bigger picture, losing 4 of your last 6 games isn't promotion winning form.

As for James, I think Leeds would be better served by finding a player who can put the ball in the back of the net.
