The mistakes will haunt him, as BM says, but no one remembers the clean sheets and good saves, he’s made to get the Reds to the final and throughout the season..

In the end, individual mistakes led to the goals and Liverpool lost, not Loris Karius..

As an aside, Ramos has come under scrutiny, not least from Barcelona and Atletico fans, as he’s reportedly done the same to their players, such as Messi and Torres, as he did to Salah...

Ramos is a dirty cheat.. I hope his World Cup and football career come to end with an "accidental" leg breaking challenge.

Atleti fans have uploaded some of Ramos’ “finer” moments... but it’s the Egyptian press that have the strongest denunciation for the Real defender, Calling him a butcher and that God would deal with the Spaniard...

A broken leg, wouldn’t change the result now, but there’d be a great many smiles across Egypt and Merseyside...

..and Sheffield

.. and it gets worse...

Karius has received death threats, for his mistakes...

..and

An Egyptian lawyer has filed a €1b lawsuit against Ramos, as the spaniard’s actions may lead to Salah not fulfilling his potential at the World Cup..

There’s enough evidence to show Ramos brought the Egyptian down, but if we’re going to be faced with lawsuits every time a poor challenge ends with a player going off injured, no one will ever make a challenge again..

Karius is continuing to receive support from medical experts, who point to his errors being the result of a collision with Sergio Ramos. It’s been bandied about that the German suffered concussion, early on in the game following a challenge from Ramos, the same Madrid player, who brought down Salah, resulting in his dislocated shoulder..

Both Salah and Karius have not blamed the Spaniard for their “reported” injuries, though Egyptian fans have been livid with him, obtaining his mobile number and phoning him up to hurl abuse.

Despite all the talk, Liverpool haven’t said they are actively seeking a new shot stopper, as prior to the final, Karius’ stats had been exemplary.

Others may feel differently..

Klopp will have to have the utmost confidence in his keeper if he keeps him on. If Liverpool once again get into a winning position and the keeper once again lets him down it may well be both their heads on the block.

It’s the problem that Karius has. No one, aside from most Liverpool fans will remember his performances throughout the season. The media will advertise his Champions League performance. I’m happy with him as keeper.

I wonder if Man City are still the bookies favorite to win this years competition?

Oh and the sending off of Ronaldo was a disgraceful decision.

At least fans of the big Manchester club will be happy on both counts....
