Liverpool have it all to do against Napoli now. Home advantage should give them 1 of the two clear goals they need. I hope they improve on their last two performances though. They took a bit of a spanking in the first half of last nights match.

Liverpool have the pedigree for the Napoli kind of nights..

As for the Paris game, I didn’t expect anything other than a the result. Paris have some top players and Tuchel is a decent manager, deploying box to box midfielders, such as Verratti.

Watching Neymar though, took me back to the myriad of memes he suffered, following the World Cup...

Europe needs Manchester City? You've never won the European Cup (Champions League). You've never come close to winning the European Cup (Champions League) and in Man Citys 138 year existence you've only managed to gain entry to the top European Competition on 8 occasions, which means for 130 years nobody in Europe had even heard of you. If City were to drop out of the Champions League tomorrow I doubt anyone will even have noticed you've been in it let alone miss you.

If Manchester is mentioned in European football circles, it’s not about the blue side..

Outside of England, people know City’s manager and some of the players, but would still think people were talking about the Red half of the city..

It was a good solid performance, Napoli only had two chances, one at the start of the game the other at the end. Apart from that it was all Liverpool.

Aye, but aside from the goal, which was Salah back at his best, we couldn’t hit water if we’d have fallen out of the boat...

Tough draw for three of the English teams... Dortmund are flying in the Bundesliga, whilst Bayern can never be written off. Mourinho will be shaking his head......

Only Citeh look like favourites to go through..
