Looks like Warburton's a goner - but the whole episode is pretty messy. The club claim he resigned, he claims he didn't. And so the carnival continues.

At least now, with the league done and dusted, there's no immediate hurry to get a replacement in. It won't appease those who demand second, but they need to be realistic about where Rangers actually are. I've said it before I think, but I'd go for Peter Houston. Falkirk play the way Rangers try to play, and there's no real pressure on whoever comes in because the damage has been done. Quoting stats when you're 27 points off the pace won't cut it.

Good to see you back, pal.

Rangers need some stability... though not sure how bringing in Skirtel will solve that. Defoe would be a good buy though.. the lad knows where the net is..

Not played much this season though, these guys are on 60/80 a week. Dunno if they'll come up here for a quarter of that.

True enough. Gerrard has tied down Jamie Murphy, who had a decent season on loan up there. He’s looking at bringing in a few young lads too and his links with Liverpool have already provided the media with rumours about Solanke.

Klopp had given Gerrard good advice about managing, telling him he’d need to suffer disappointment, to get his own way of playing, his own tactics and picking his own team. He started with the U18’s and he had his arse handed to him a few times. I have to be honest, I didn’t think this’d be a good gig for him and that Rangers would need a bigger managerial name.

Time will tell, I guess.

Rangers seem to be racking up the red cards... two in two games now.
